Let Me Tell Ya! Episode #68

Happy Independence Day...while we still can. There has been a recent call to cancel the 4th of July, well not the date really but the celebration of our nations independence on that day. Some say it should be replaced with Juneteenth, the day that ALL Americans were truly free people. Which I agree should be a national holiday, not instead of Independence Day, but along with the current national celebration. I'll break down through the Declaration of Independence and the words of Fredrick Douglass why I think that is so, and how we as a nation can truly live up to the ideals set forth in the premise of the first document.
